SAR Instructor Bios

Brent Adams is currently an Account Manager and Trainer at Corelogic, the country's largest provider of Real Estate data. He works most often with an integrated, online tax program called Realist that provides public records data to over 140 Multiple Listing Services and 800,000 Realtors each day. He also trains the flagship MLS system from Corelogic called Matrix, along with other Corelogic programs such as Data Co-Op, GoMLS (SkiMLS), AgentAchieve, and Instanet.  Aside from managing implementations and providing support to Corelogic users, his job often takes him on the road to provide training. He has also been holding an increasing number of training webinars for these same people, and the program has helped him to improve his delivery of these courses over the years. 


 

Damian Cox has practiced in the real estate industry since 1995, initially as a real estate broker for seven years, and then as an attorney. In addition to serving on the Colorado Real Estate Commission forms and education committees, he also represents more than twenty real estate brokerage firms with more than 2,000 real estate brokers across all of Colorado. He has served on multiple Real Estate Commission task forces and also worked closely with the Attorney General’s office in drafting new legislation regarding the Colorado Foreclosure Protection Act. Damian teaches for Realtor® associations across Colorado.


   

Jon Goodman has been an attorney for over thirty years and a Shareholder of his firm Frascona, Joiner, Goodman and Greenstein P.C. since 1993. Jon has published hundreds of real estate articles, dozens of webcasts, and is a frequent speaker of dozens of topics within the real estate industry. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the Denver Post, and the Rocky Mountain News on various subject matters.


  

Chris Hardy has spent the bulk of his 14 years as a REALTOR training, coaching, and managing real estate professionals. He is currently the Employing Broker and Partner with Elevations Real Estate, an independent firm of 13 broker/partners in Fort Collins, Colorado. He also serves on the IRES Regional MLS Board of Managers as well as past terms on the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS, and as a state director for Colorado Association of REALTORS. In addition to his successful real estate business, Chris teaches continuing education courses including the Annual Commission Update (ACU), NAR Ethics Update, various GRI courses, and the FCBR Academy Emerging Professional series of courses designed to help newer REALTORS reach for success in their budding careers. Chris has also been honored with both REALTOR of The Year (2011) and Distinguished Service Awards (2016) by the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS.


  

 Felice Huntley joined West Brown and Huntley in 1991. Her primary areas of practice are real estate, wills, trusts and estates, business and commercial transactions, and community association law. She is very involved in the community representing many local businesses, buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate and businesses, homeowner associations, builders, and property owners. Felice is involved with a variety of nonprofits. Felice is a frequent local speaker on estate planning, real estate and association issues.


  

Gary Kujawski is the HOA Information Officer for the Colorado HOA Information and Resource Center.  The Center is organized within the Division of Real Estate under the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).  Gary is an attorney, and started practicing law in 1984, concentrating in the area of real estate law, as well being as a general practitioner in areas of bankruptcy, small business matters, consumer issues, estates/probate, and timeshares.  He also has experience in the corporate arena, and was in charge of title education and operations for a large title company operation in Denver, CO, heading up the foreclosure/investor and timeshare divisions, as well as being an educational corporate trainer, and working on industry legislative concerns.  He has also taught numerous real estate classes throughout Colorado to Realtor boards, Realtors, title companies, lenders, investors and consumers.  Gary has also advised and served on many organizations, including HOA Boards, Chambers of Commerce, and Special Business Service Districts.  His experience also includes working on real estate and HOA legislation and testimony before Colorado State legislative committees, including compliance issues, as well as being a national and regional speaker on timeshare HOA board member and owner issues.


  

Holly Maybery is a licensed real estate agent and Realtor® since 1998 with a focus in residential resale in Northern Arizona in the communities of Sedona, Cottonwood, Prescott and the Verde Valley. Clientele was evenly split between buyers and sellers throughout my career assisting them in each stage of the home buying experience. Sedona, Arizona is considered a resort community and a top luxury destination. The bedroom communities surrounding Sedona in the Verde Valley are idealistic for retirement and investment. I have spent over 13 years serving these communities assisting buyers and sellers leverage real estate as an opportunity for investment, retirement, immediate or future needs. In the last few years I have expanded my service area to include the Prescott Quad-Cities. Prescott has named one of the top 20 places in the US to retire. Working with clients in their consideration of Northern Arizona and the many amenities provides for retirement and investment has been the foundation of my business. I have extensive experience in cultivation of new clients, working by referral and the relying on consistency in using a data base. I am a full time Realtor® serving the communities in which I grew up in and currently live.


   

Charity Vermeer - Since 1993 when I began my career in real estate, I have learned from some of the best real estate agents and companies in Colorado. I have assisted, sold, managed, coached and trained. In 2005, I had the opportunity to begin sharing that experience by becoming an instructor for the Colorado Association of REALTORS, and shortly thereafter VanEd and The Real Estate School. In 2012, I acquired the Northern Colorado College of Real Estate, Northern Colorado’s premier pre-licensing school. I’ve expanded my business to include consultation in a variety of forms. Since October 2011, I have had the privilege of serving as the Managing Broker and Regional Director for Shorewood Real Estate Northern Colorado.


 

 Marcia Waters has been with the Colorado Division of Real Estate since August 2005. Marcia started with the Division as a Criminal Investigator for the Real Estate Commission and was promoted to Chief Investigator in 2006. In 2007, she was promoted to the position of Investigations and Compliance Director. In that capacity, she managed the investigatory and settlement programs for the Division. On October 15, 2010, she was promoted to the position of Division Director. The Division of Real Estate licenses and regulates approximately 50,000 real estate professionals. Ms. Waters serves as the administrator for the Real Estate Commission, the Board of Real Estate Appraisers, the Board of Mortgage Loan Originators, the Conservation Easement Oversight Commission, Community Association Manager Program and the HOA Information and Resource Center.
