Summer 2017 campaign theme:  Be a Summit Mitigation Hero!

The Summit Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce our 4th annual summer Wildfire Education and Prevention Program for property owners in Summit County.  The program’s mission is to educate property owners on the importance of mitigation and encourage property owner efforts to voluntarily mitigate properties to protect homes and the County from wildfire; avoid expensive legislative and regulatory mandates, and to show that Summit REALTORS® Care about our community. SAR received over $20,000 in grant funding from the National Association of REALTORS® and Colorado Association of REALTORS® Project Wildfire. Many thanks to Farmers Insurance-Doug Berg and American Family Insurance-Leslie Wiese. Both also contributed to the Defensible Space Grant program and Wildfire Mailer.

  • Educational Wildfire Mailer from SAR dropped to 12,000 Summit County property owners on June 1st. Includes information on the County Chipping  program, insurance issues, wildfire policy issues that Please share with your clients and your neighbors.

  • Media Campaign June 17th- September 23rd: SAR will run daily and weekly print, radio and TV ads promoting voluntary wildfire mitigation to avoid legislative mandates and protect the community.
