The purpose of the course is to protect the public through requiring all real estate licensees to complete 4 hours of continuing education covering new laws, Commission rules, recent court decisions, changing standards of practice and other areas of concern to the public, Commission and Industry.
Robert Howe has been the President of the Title Company of the Rockies (“TCR”), an independent title agency dedicated to the Colorado High Country, since 2002. TCR maintains direct operations in Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Moffat, Pitkin, Routt and Summit Counties and the adjoining mountain areas. With over 25 years of real estate experience, that background includes being a shareholder in a Minneapolis – St. Paul based real property law practice, creation of an affiliated title insurance agency, and was a founding shareholder and the Executive Vice President of a national platform for distressed real estate asset management and technology systems (acquired by Fidelity National Financial, now a division of Black Knight Financial Services in 2000). Mr. Howe also has professional experience with a national direct marketing company, financial services industry, and the film industry. Recent professional affiliations include being the immediate past president of the Land Title Association of Colorado and long-time board member, American Land Title Association committees, Vice Chairman of the Colorado Division of Real Estate.
