Class Description:

Selling real estate in the mountain communities
of Colorado is not always as straightforward as
it would seem nor similar to residential or
commercial sales within urban and suburban
areas. As a seller there are some nuances one
should be aware of. This course will dive into
some of the topics to consider when dealing
with buyers and sellers in the mountain and ski
areas. The primary focus will be on certain
sections within the standard Contract to Buy &
Sell Residential. Oftentimes details get
overlooked when considering these types of
sales and it's important to know this information
so your client is protected. If you're looking to
sharpen your skills on CO mountain contracts
this class is for you. It is created for new and
veteran agents alike.

Topics:

  • HOA's
  • Special Taxing Districts
  • Private Transfer Fees
  • Local Transfer Taxes
  • Off-Grid Properties
  • Mining Claims and more!

Instructor:      Brieonna Aljets

Brieonna grew up in real estate with her mom as a Broker, and has held a number of positions within the industry over the last 14 years. These roles include: team leader, executive assistant, Buyer's agent, Association Executive, and productivity coach throughout IL, TN and CO. Currently, she holds a managing broker's license and has a degree in Education. Her passion is training and consulting; she teaches real estate school as well and enjoys bringing humor into the classroom. Without a laugh she's not sure anything qualifies as success. Having taught first grade previously, she's more than prepared to handle any situation in the classroom! Outside of work you can find Brieonna spending time with her husband and 5-year old son. She enjoys trail running, boating on the Blue Mesa, and snowboarding. Just like most Gunnison residents, she came for the winter but stayed for the phenomenal summers.
